Electronic Wizzes HELP NEEDED!!?

My digital camera wont turn on...I chaned the batteries and the little green light comes on but in wont turn on the camera. I have had the same memory card for the past 3 years since I got it, could that be it?......also I tooks the card out of my purse to get pics from a kios and I left it there for weeks...maybe the heat damage it??...advice???

Take the memory card out of the camera and see if it will come on.  If that does not work then the camera is damaged.

If it is not too old you could take it back and have the store replace in under warranty.
