Electroux integrated dishwasher?

Question

dishwasher has been working fine until recently before the wash was complete it fused all electric in house as there was a fault with dishwasher. the water that should have drained was still there and whenever we tried to switch it on to see if it wpuld work the same thing would happen - would fuse everthing. few weeks ago i tried it to see what happens and it worked fine for a few weeks doing a load once a day now the other night same thing happened...water will not drain away. how can this be repiared and whats causing the prob? thanks

Sounds like the pump has gone.
