Elekid EV training help?

I've decided to start EV training my Elekid before I evolve it

It has Pokerus and has a macho brace attached to it and I've only been fighting Bidoofs, but for some reason it's not getting tons of stat points! It's only getting the normal amount of stat points it would if I wasn't ev training it

What am I doing wrong???

What is wrong is you Probly have started to EV it at a Low Level. What you should do is get it at lv 25+ or even lv 30. Just dont let it evolve. When your pokemon have a low lv it cannot gain very many EV's. It gains so much more less than a normal level one would that you can hardly see the stat raising Difference.

you gotta level the pokemon up to get the stat points

dont give it a macho brace cuz it messes up the stats. give it exp.share and swap it out. that way it gains most of the experience and grows with good stats.

Your Elekid is probably at a low level. When your Pokémon are at a low level, they don't accumulate as much EV points as when they are high leveled. Don't worry about it much. The only way you can actually see EV training at work is when your Pokémon are at a high level.
