Elementary school SUCKS!?

are you serious 6 hours a day with the same TEACHER the same CLASSROOM the same SEAT? AHAHAHAAHA im glad im out of elementary school now, last year of highschool and its over then its smooth sailing

cmon elementary school is a joke, there is no need for 6 hours a day, especially during grades K-5

As an elementary school teacher, I can tell you that although you think 6 hours a day is too much for elementary students, it isn't.  Students need that much time to be taught the many subjects to give them a firm educational foundation.

Also, to the first person to comment about recesses being an excuse for teachers to get a break...please.  Recesses are not intended for teachers to get a break but for the students to have a break from class time.  As young children, they still need time to play and be kids, and recesses in school are aimed at that purpose.  So, to say that you are wasting your tax money on recesses is ridiculously ignorant.
