Elementry and secondary education?

What are the grade group difference between these two? i.e preschool, kindergarden...etc

Which one pays more if you have a Bachelors? Master?

What are the teaching methods? i.e teach one subject to many different classes, teach various subject to same class...etc

  1. Elementary is K-6

    Secondary is 7-12.

    If you only have a BA you dont get paid as much as if you had a Masters degree. It all depends on the district and state you are working for that determines how much your starting salary is. Your salary then goes up depending on how many years you have been teaching and how many points/credits you have toward your Masters degree.

    K-3 is basically teaching the same class different subjects each day. As their teacher, you are responsible for teaching them the main subjects (ex. Math, Science, Social Studies, Spelling.....).

    4-6 begin teaching only one subject to various classes. But it all depends on the school.

    7-12 you are mainly teaching one subject to various classes. But, like I said it all depends on the school. Some teachers can teach several subjects to various classes.
