  1. What exactly is "criminal thinking"?

Seems like your criminology class is run by some college professor who's a bit out of touch with the real world.

From a purely technical standpoint, there are only two universal elements that make people criminals: they don't respect the laws they're violating, and they think they can get away with it. The term "criminal" is really very vague as it applies to anybody who breaks the law, from somebody who spits on the sidewalk to a serial killer. You honestly can't say that the two crimes really have much in common, so your question needs to be more specific.

  2. burn ****

  3. i was once told that i was a narcissist who was proud of his fallacies, and also that i had a problem with authority since i was 2. i'm no longer a criminal, but i am still a narcissist, and i still have a problem with authority. i'm no longer proud of my fallacies, but i am still proud of my phallus. i also no longer feel untouchable. i think that was a big contributor.

  6. Not having any regard for the victim of their crimes

    Being entirely self absorbed

Not being able to delay gratification

Thinking the law don't apply to them, or are stupid and they don't have to follow them

Grandiosity, they think most people are beneath them

  7. That is an excellent question.  The inability to control oneself is something I see everyday in my job as a PO.  They have a lack of self control in that if they want something, they want it and there is no regard for the effect on the people around them.
