Elements skateboard bearing?

Question

Im going to buy a new skateboard and i wanted to know if elements is a good bearing brand? , keep in mind thet i havent skated in like 1 1/2 years and that my last board was a wallmart board so everything will feel good, im asking if they are good bearing for re-starting on skating and if they will last me until i get better and beyond?

Also , what abec should i get? 3, 5, 7 or 9?

iv been skating for 4 years and you can never go wrong with bones reds abec 7

*but if you can find abec 9 that sounds great

abec stands for how fast so 3 is very slow and 9 is very fast

in my opinion faster is better

3 is for slow pokes if you want sped for 7 or 9 and i recommend luckys and red bearings...

yea dude elements a good brand bearing if your looking for their top dollar one very good ones i would suggest element black and white bearings or if your looking for cheap but good id suggest element thriftwood bearings.

Yeah they are good but I use and recommend REDS they are cheap and very good but thats my opinion

I've never had Element bearings but I have another suggestions.

You can buy Bones Reds bearings, they're what I have now, they are seriously good for a cheap price - $15. They are good bearings for beginners and intermediate skaters who want good bearings. But they aren't the fastest bearings out there, since you're re-starting you don't need super speed.

Bones make very good bearings and don't have ABEC ratings. ABEC ratings are ratings that show how precise the bearing is, not how fast. The higher the ABEC rating, the weaker the bearing is but not so weak, you can skate them even if you do crazy stuff on your board. But if you want bearings with ABEC ratings, then a 5 or 7 is good.

yeah bro,element is a really good brand for everything..although you might wanna go for some reds..there cheaper and just as good...oh and abec ratings are for how perfectly spherical the balls are...never mind go for the lowest you can find..the lowest numbers have the best quality...get 3's
