Elena too close to Alyssa?

I really love the name Elena, but I already have an Alyssa...do they sound too close?

  1. The go well together in my opinon the first sounds are close but they end totally different

  3. I don't think that they sound too close. I have brothers named Shawn and Scott.

    And even if they were close, it only matters what you think, and if you really like the name then go ahead and name your daughter that.

    Once again, I don't think the names are too close. But they are both really pretty!

  4. I think Elena is the best spelling because that will make it more different from Alyssa. If you get people saying they sound close, you can just point out that Elena starts with an E. I think the names compliment each other. You should go for it.
