Elephant Nature Park?

Question

I am planning for a trip to the 'Elephant Nature Park' in Chiangmai -Thailand at the end of the year for a 'volunteering holiday'. However, I would be travelling alone from Singapore...

Has anyone out there who has been to this place before? How do I travel to the nature park from the nearest airport? Also, would there be any additional safety precautions that I need to be aware of, since I am travelling alone?

Well, you don't say which one you are going to???  I assume you might be going to the Elephant Conservatory in Lampang? which is about 1 hr drive from Chieng Mai - I think you should be fine travelling alone - I went for a day visit with my nephews and we all had a great time - - I am sure you will love it..
