I don't get it. Could a 16 year old go if accompanied with an 18 yo? What does it mean by children under 12 get in free...but then 13-17 can't...

Confused..

  1. hi you i cant see where you coming from and It does sound silly and stuip but the electric picnic was always an over 18 event and reading the add the only thing i can think of that they are letting under 12`s in free is for (1) if anything happen to the under 12`s at the event they will tell you there not insured and (2) the planners of the event looks like they want the age group of 18 - 30/35 looking at the add you have linked with this question i would not support it you cant block out one age group from  the event for fairness to all i do think the planners should allow the 13 - 17 age group accompanied by the same age group as the under 12 what if you had to good friends 1 wont be 12 till the event is over and the other will be 12 on or just before the event

  2. Theres no mistake thats just how the Electric Picnic is run. Its aimed at adults and families (adults with young children not teens). Teens are purposfully excluded. I prefer Oxegen. The Elcetric Picnic is supposed to be more adult and have a better atmostshpere in my experience the atmostshpere at Oxegen is much better.

  3. Only children under 12 can attend with adults.  Children aged 13-17 are not permitted to attend.

  4. Sure nobody takes any notice of that malarkey!

  5. I agree with you it does seem stupid, that a 12 year old can go accompanied by an adult, but 13 to 17 year old can't go even if accompanied by an adult. I am sure there must be some mistake on that link. i really can't see the point of that at all. But that is what it clearly states.
