Elie Baup feels that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127’s defeat to close-rivals, Paris Saint-Germain is a disappointing result for the team. The coach feels satisfied with the way his players performed on the field. However, he also insisted
that Les Phoceens should have tried harder for scoring a goal.  Since its inception, Le Classique is one of the most highly anticipated encounters in the French Ligue 1.
The Frenchman felt frustrated after the game as his side failed to register a single goal in the tightly-contested fixture. The former goalkeeper believes that his players deserved to score a goal. Baup insisted that Marseille
presented a good show and didn’t let their opponents takeover the game, despite the fact that Les Phoceens were playing away from home. The coach exclaimed:
"We're frustrated because we deserved to get back on terms to 1-1."
The 57-year-old believes that the players executed his game plan well and managed to maintain possession. However, the defending champions failed to register themselves on the score sheet at the Parc des Princes. The coach felt
satisfied with his midfielders, as they managed to win some major tackles against Les Parisiens. Yet, they were still unable to create chances for the forwards to avail.
"We had possession and put moves together but they were effective with their swift counters. Playing like that is good, but we have to be capable of scoring goals. We won a lot of ball in midfield.”
Baup added:
“We played a very good game. The result does not move forwards but the display has to."
Despite the fact that the Marseille-based club have failed to register a much needed win against PSG in order to have the upper to defend their title, the reigning champions are keen on avenging their defeat in the upcoming Coupe
de http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 fixture. Olympique de Marseille would face-off Paris Saint-Germain in the Round-of-16 of the knock-out tournament, hoping to win some silverware this season. Baup said:
"We'll have a look at what sort of team we can send out on Wednesday in the Coupe de France because a lot of players put in so much physically."
