of fixtures prior the winter break.
Andre-Pierre Gignac came off the bench to score the winner as Marseille won 1-0 against Toulouse. The victory allows the French outfit to move level on points with Ligue 1 leaders http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130.
The coach stated that Les Phoceens do not tend to differentiate between home or away games. Especially since they lost so many points at home, they’re determined to cover up their earlier losses. He said:
“We have dropped so many points at home; we are obliged to take points on the road. We don't have a different approach to away games or home games.”
Baup also recognized the fans for their contribution, who have been consistently supporting the Marseille-based side throughout the good and bad times of the club. The Frenchman called for the fans to keep their continuous support as they face AS Saint Etienne
in their last fixture before the winter break. He said:
“We owed it to our supporters and those who love the club to finish the year with a good match (against Saint-Etienne) at home.”
The former FC Girondins de Bordeaux saluted his players for their determination, and praised them for their efforts. Baup rhapsodized:
“We will have played 30 matches by the halfway stage in the season, so I have to take my hat off to my players.”
The former goalkeeper believes that it wasn’t an easy game against Les Pitchouns. However, Marseille managed to produce an impressive performance that led to score a crucial goal that earned them the points. He said:
“The context was unusual this evening. Having extra players does not always help because we don't always keep our movement of the ball simple.”
