The nine-time champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 are set to take on Le Gym in the league and coach, Elie Baup is not taking anything for granted.
OGC Nice have been inconsistent this season and are currently 15th in the league with 12 points on the table after 11 games. However, the Marseille coach is aware of the threat Claude Peul’s side pose to Les Phoceens and is not taking their Sunday’s
opponents lightly.
While talking to reporters, the former Nantes coach stated that it’s an important game for Marseille and they need to collect all three points to stay in the title race. OM played in the Europa League on Thursday and Baup is keeping the fatigue factor in
mind and will rotate his squad accordingly.
Praising their Sunday’s opponents, the 57-year-old stated that Nice are a quality team and they have the ability to defeat any team in the league on their day. The coach said that Le Gym play with great intensity and Marseille need to be at their best to
get a positive result on Sunday.
"For us it's a big game, we have a lot of games in quick succession. There is two days between the Europa League game and this one against Nice. It's a tough game against a good opponent. I think that Nice are playing well, they're playing with a lot of
passion,"
Baup added that Marseille will play a lot of matches at home this month and they need to win as many games as possible if they want to rival the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 for the Championelle.
"We need to get points at home. This month, we play a lot of games at home so we need to get as many points as possible. There's much at stake, it's a tough match, a derby, and it's going to be an important game for the championship."
Olympique de Marseille have been phenomenal this season and Elie Baup would not accept anything but a victory at Stade Velodrome this Sunday.
