While talking to reporters, the Frenchman stated that it wasn’t an easy game by any means and the hosts made it hard for his side to get something out of the game. It was a tough game but Marseille are used to such kind of matches and the players did well
to stay focused.
Praising his players, Elie Baup said that the Rhone giants did really well to stay in the game and were rewarded for their hard work with maximum points on the road.
"We are used to having tough closing minutes in matches. I would like to salute my players who really fought hard on a tough pitch to keep the three points."

The former Nantes coach added that Les Phoceens needed to win this game after the Lyon loss last week, and the players’ response has pleased the boss to great extent.
“I was waiting for a reaction after the Lyon loss last week, and it was a good reaction.”
Baup added that Marseille showed just why they are still a force to reckon in France. The players were aware of their duties and responsibilities, and claiming three points away from home is not an easy task in the Ligue 1 this season.
“The players were conscious of the situation and we took the three points.”
