What does that mean? Do i need to have a visa already to be eligable or does it mean that i can apply for one?

I mean what are the way of being eligable to be able to live and work in UK, say for a period of 2 years? I am in hospitality industry and have been working for the last 4 years in 2 diffrent countries. Dubai and Maldives!

  1. It means can you legally work in the UK now, without any input from the company.  So, yes, it is asking if you are:

    A UK citizen or

A non citizen with the right to live and work in the UK (eg EU citizen or resident or spouse etc.)

If you do not have the applicable visa etc. now, then you are not eligible to live and work in the UK.
