Eliminating Guitar noise?

I have a Fender Squire Stratocaster Special Edition with 2 single coils and a humbucker.

I always play on the humbucker for the sound but its very sensitive(everyone says they cant play on it) So over 3 years ive become used to it, but if i listen closely i hear my music sounds crappy because of the string noise.

Can Anyone please give me some tips to keep the other strings silent, or a few nice exersices (Because I know I just Have to get used to playing right,)

  1. Try palm muting this site will explain

  2. If you turn the volume down a little it'll greatly decrease the string noise. Muting the strings is also a great idea. Maybe new pickups, Fender makes noiseless pickups, it might be worth looking into.
