Elizabeth Beisel wins Women’s 400m IM heat: Day three – 2011 USA Swimming Long Course Nationals
ABFNE’s Elizabeth Beisel produced a stunning splash in the preliminary heats on the close of day three at the 2011 USA Swimming Long Course Nationals in Paloalto, California, on Thursday, August 4.
The session of the heat held the Women’s 400m Individual Medley prelims. In the following heat, Beisel came out vibrantly and won the race with a sterling time of 4 minutes and 39.58 seconds. Meanwhile, Madeline Dirado of STANPC was placed second in 4 minutes
and 42.24 seconds, while Allysa Vavra of IUIN finished third on the podium in 4 minutes and 42.45 seconds.
Natalie Adams of AGSGU earned fourth spot in 4 minutes and 43.54 seconds, whereas, Teresa Crippen of GAACMA finished fifth in a time of 4 minutes and 43.82 seconds. Amber Mcdermott of SAGA settled sixth in 4 minutes and 44.08 seconds, while Julia Smit of
STANPC wound up seventh in 4 minutes and 44.36 seconds.
Haley Anderson of TROJCA earned eighth spot in 4 minutes and 45.00 seconds, whereas, Dagny Knutson of UN07FL settled ninth in 4 minutes and 45.22 seconds. Last, but not the least, Andre Taylor of STANPC finished tenth in a time of 4 minutes and 46.33 seconds.
In the Women’s 400m Individual Medley B heat, Rachel s******r of CASC earned top place in 4 minutes and 46.40 seconds, whereas, Lyndsay Paul De finished second on the podium in 4 minutes and 46.49 seconds. Jana Mangimelli of SAGA was placed third in 4 minutes
and 47.33 seconds. Lauren Driscoll of FLAFG settled fourth in 4 minutes and 47.71 seconds, whereas, Rachel Zilinskas of GAACMA was placed fifth in 4 minutes and 47.88 seconds.
Emma Nunn of NVAVA settled first in the Women’s 400m Individual Medley C heat with a winning time of 4 minutes and 49.59 seconds. Aja Hout Van of BACWI was placed second in 4 minutes and 49.75 seconds, while Hali Flickinger of YYMA finished third in 4 minutes
and 49.83 seconds. Annie Zhu of AGUAMR settled fourth on the podium in 4 minutes and 49.84 seconds, whereas Allison Brown of PLSPC was placed fifth in 4 minutes and 50.13 seconds.
