Can someone remind me. I understand there is going to be some movie or tv show. I am not sure, but juggling my blank memory I faintly remember her as being abducted or something. Someone refresh my memory.

2 years ago she was abducted by Vinson Filyaw. She was kept in his bunker underground. She was raped repeatedly and tortured by her capturer. To find out more check out dateline on msnbc.com, there it tells her entire story.

Eve Shoaf was a girl who was abducted at the age of 14 while walking home from school. A man who was dressed as a police officer handcuffed her and took her to an underground bunker which he built next to his trailer. For 10 days, she was sexually assaulted.

In order to escape, she trained to gain the trust of her attacker and eventually he gave her his cell phone to play games on. Instead, she sent text messages to her parents, letting them know what was going on. Eventually, the text messages were tracked and she was free.

The man who did this to her admitted to what he did and was sentences to 421 years in prison with no chance of parole.
