Elliott Smith and "Twilight" by Stephanie Meyer?

Is it just a coincidence that Stephanie Meyer named the first two books in the Twilight series "Twilight" and "New Moon" when one of Elliott's album is called "New Moon" and he had the song "Twilight."

Kinda weird. Is it just a coincidence?

Surely that's a coincidence. It's not like SMeyer or Elliott made up the words "New Moon" or "Twilight." They're fairly common, especially together.

They do have quite a bit in common, dealing with astronomy and night. It may have been more uncommon if his name was Stephen Meyers or something.
