Elliott Wells and Jake Todd of Hisc top RS Feva at RYA Volvo South Zone Championships
Splendid display of sailing skills from Hisc’s Elliott Wells and Jake Todd brought the pair on top of the standings in RS Feva at RS Feva, at the RYA Volvo South Zone Championships. The duo produced some excellent sail during the two-day sailing event to
hit the first podium mark with seven points after completing six races and one discard.
Weather conditions in the south zone were way too strong for sailors, as the breeze blew over 30 knots at the racing area along with some heavy shifty gusts. Sailors enjoyed the forecast and had a fast spinnaker sail in the event.
Jamie Smith and David Brand from Hisc ended up at second place in the event with nine points, while James Eales and Jess Eales of Royal Lymington Yacht Club managed to pick third position after two days of the challenging event.
