my elna contessa 400 seems to have a problem where one stage of the cycle has a lot of resistence, the motor is unable to turn past this point, and when turning by hand it is quite difficult to pass the point where the rest is fairly smoothe... the point of resistence is when the needle is turning from its highest point to go back down, the problem came up mid sewing, where it was sewing well, then the motor seemed as if is started to struggle, and within several stitches, it was too difficult for the motor to continue... I have opened everything up, and have cleaned everything out, and oiled the cams and pushrods, but its still very stiff at that point... any idea?
