I have an Elna, "Jubye" (my be Tuby-e). It was purchased in 1998. I have had it fixed twice and my local machine repair person says he has fixed it, however it is continuing to have the same problem. When I sew, the bobbin's thread wraps around the inner bobbin compartment, then causes the tension on the top thread to become taut and break. I then have a huge glob of thread on the underside of my garment and I have to sever that to release the garment, then cut the 20+ thread cluster in the bobbin compartment. I will try to sew again and then it will happen after about 2 inches of sewing. I have adjusted the thread tension, tried different fabrics and had my machine maintenanced (oiled/cleaned) recently. Do you have any suggestions? I am ready to throw the machine out the window, into the street and run over it with someone else's car. Thank you! Amy Urban in Austin TX
