Question:

Elocution and all that jazz?

i know in elocution lessons they do rhymes like . . .

the rain in spain falls mainly on the plane . . .

and . . .

in hartford, hereford and hampshire hurricanes hardly ever happen . . .

but does anybody else know any more rhymes??

  2. some tongue twisters are always good.

    eg:  starched shirts

    lemon liniment

    she sells sea-shells on the sea-shore

    red lorry, yellow lorry

    red leather, yellow leather

    etc

    try reading aloud from a Charles Dickens novel - any one of them will do.
