Elusive In Paris bidding for hat-trick in the “Saw Doctor” Handicap
One of the strongest links in the “Saw Doctor” Handicap is the three-year-old bay gelding, Elusive In Paris. The race will be hosted by Leopardstown over seven furlongs on Thursday, 16th August. Thirteen three-year and above runners have lined
up for the challenge today and the prize money at stake is €13,000.
The three-year-old has raced four times during the new season and has won twice from the outings that he undertook.
Elusive City’s bay gelding took off the season with a third position in the Rambo By Horseware Ireland 3YO Handicap on 17th February, 2012 at Dundalk over seven furlongs. The race was won by, Samollie, by a head’s margin.
The M. J. Grassick trained then tried his luck in the Irish News Boot Room 3YO Handicap on 23rd March, 2012 at Dundalk over a mile. The race was won by the favourite entry of the race, Queenscliff, while the second slot was filled up by, Samollie.
Making the most out of the third chance of the season, the bay gelding out of, Bradwell, won the

The favourite entry of the race was paired up with jockey, N. G. McCullagh and the two won the race by the margin of 1 ½ lengths. After breaking from the third gate, he chased the leaders and ranked fifth with half the distance down. He was ridden over the
final furlong out but maintained a firm grip inside the final furlong.
Qualifying as the runner-up was, Strike Action, while filling up the third position behind the winner was, Samollie.
The Geoffrey Croke bred then won the Louth Agricultural Show 17th June 3YO Handicap on 18th May, 2012 at Dundalk over a mile. The joint favourite was paired up with jockey, N. G. McCullagh for the race and the two went past the wire
by the margin of ¾ of a length.
You Got Heart settled as the runner-up while Top Man Michael ended third behind the winner.
For a straight fourth time he will be paired up with jockey, N. G. McCullagh and the two will take on the competition from the fourth gate.
