Elwick Quiz set to claim Lawrence Jones Memorial Festival 480 b*****s Heat 3
Elwick Quiz is in a very good position to claim the Lawrence Jones Memorial Festival 480 b*****s Heat 3 at Monmore in England on Monday, December 3, 2012. She is in very good form at the moment and will not make life easy for her opponents in the Grade OR
competition.
Although, the young b***h has not been given the highest odds for victory, yet she cannot b taken lightly at all. Her performances in this class have been really good and she will be looking forward to make the most of that today.
She will enter the contest with a starting price of 3 to 1, which is not bad at all. It will be a clever idea for the punters to risk more bets in her favour than anyone, as she can claim the top spot comfortably.
The M. Walsh’s trainee has got a very good speed, which will allow her to be aggressive in the early phases of the 480 metres race. Once she manages to do that, she will have a solid chance of taking advantage of her stamina towards the final few metres.
A victory will earn her a cash prize of £150 at the end of the day.
Elwick Quiz has been slotted in trap number one, which is an ideal position to start off with. She will definitely get a clear run and there are no chances for her to get stuck behind slower runners.
She was unable to succeed in her previous two Grade OR competitions, finishing as a runner up in them. The distance to cover in those events was a lengthy one and she simply did not have enough gas in the tank to last long.
However, things will be completely different at Monmore and the odds are looking good for her.
On the other hand, Mutual Decision will be looking to dominate the proceedings in order to meet the expectations of her team. She has been rated as the favourite to succeed with a starting price of 4 to 5 and it will not be easy to prevent her from fighting
at the front.
However, she has been off colour over the past couple of OR events, which will put her under some pressure.
