Emailing Stephenie Meyer, would it help Midnight Sun?

As most of you know there isn't an official email account for Stephenie. I was wondering if her die hard true fans emailed her Agent Jodi Reamer and expressed our true feelings about Midnight Sun maybe she could talk her out of her anger what do you think? That is what Agents do, they give inspiration and hope, and that's all we have right now is hope. Here her agents email address jreamer@writerhouse.com. Maybe if she see all of ours efforts and loyalty she could help our cause. Pass on the email address.

  1. thank you soo much!

im very upst bout midnight sun,and i will definately be emailing her agent! :)

  2. Who cares, we all know what happens anyway. SMeyer has to stop whining.

  3. is this really the right email?

  4. Honestly, I suspect her agent would be irritated by it.  My agent would be irritated if they got a thousand emails (even if they were encouraging), because it’s overload, clogs up her inbox, delays her work, etc.

My suggestion--create a website (there are places where you can do it for free) or a blog and invite people to submit/leave comments.  Then send the agent ONE email directing her to the website or blog.  She will likely forward it to the author, and who knows, maybe the author will drop by and leave a comment?

  5. i think its a good idea showing our support in mass numbers might help. it may not change her mind for a while but its still worth a try.

and this isnt harrassment its concern

  6. If you have a facebook account--come join the literary ninjas--those fighting against p****y.  We are opening a midnight sun discussion--you can put your feelings there!!!

  7. I really don't think Jodi Reamer is going to have much say in this. If you go here - http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/midnightsu... - you see that Stephenie Meyer is more or less refusing to write. She claims that she's simply too upset with this leak to feel comfortable working on Midnight Sun.

Personally, I think Stephenie Meyer is being childish, and no one is going to be able to change her mind - no matter how loyal they are, or how much effort they put forth. If such things were able to change her mind, she obviously wouldn't even be putting this project on hold.

If you ask me, she's punishing her fans for her own foolishness and misplaced trust. When she handed out those manuscripts (and there was certainly more than one), she should've realized that these things happen in the literary world.

In any case, pestering her agent probably isn't going to do an ounce of good. Just hope that in time, Meyer cools down and realizes just how unfair she's being to her fans.

EDIT: I think kp (right below me) is definitely on to something. That's a perfect way to get both the agent and the author's attention - without driving them nuts. Give it a try.

  8. i'm gonna do it!!

i wanna her to wirte it soo badlyy!!

whatever it probly won't work but whatever

  9. Yeah, did u get her e-mail adress right?

  10. Harassing her agent, yeah, that's a classy move that would surely impress her.

  11. i hope but i think that if enought ppl react that she might change her mind

  12. No. 1- It's not the agent's fault, so don't pester her

No. 2- Her agent works for her- she's not her life coach

No. 3- You have to write in a logical professional way, not scream and sob dramatically.

No. 4- You are being overdramatic
