Emailing photos?

hi everybody!! one of my online friend asked to mail my pics. iam scared whether he will save my pic in desktop & do unwanted things . is there any way to send safely or else let me know which file extension will restrict from saving my pics.

pls let me know these things ...thanks in advance!!
