Emancipation Question?

I am a 16 year old boy and I live in Ohio. I attend an online school which doesn`t take as long as a normal school. This has given me the ability to work more often. My monthly income is between $1,000.00 - $1,250.00

My parents have a house they use to rent out which is completely paid for. They are willing to give me the house if I want it for no charge. How likely am I to get emancipated and What do I need to get emancipated? Also How much does it cost to get emancipated?

your parents seem pretty nice if they are going to give you a house why would you want to get emancipated? my friends parents gave her a house and she didn't have to be emancipated to live in it all by herself.

seems like a lot of unnecessary expense.

why do you need to be emancipated to do this? also understand that emancipation does not make you an adult by the state so any contracts are not binding in court therefor you couldnt sign any contractual agreement

You don't need to be emancipated to do this. Emancipation is primarily so you can make choices about your own life, even if your parents disagree. If they agree with what you want, there's no point. More to the point, Ohio doesn't actually have court-ordered emancipation.

emancipation is free just the lawyer u get is what cost u the money and i don't even see why u would want to get emancipated
