The versatile midfielder has struggled to find first-team opportunities since his arrival at Juventus Stadium in the summer transfer window. The 26-year-old was handed a rare start in the absence of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Claudio-Marchisio-c9312, and he made
most of the opportunity.
The former Cesena star insisted that he works extremely hard in the training to become a first-team regular. Giaccherini hailed his team’s tactical plan against Luis Enrique’s side and insisted that his early strike put the opposition
on the back foot.
The 26-year-old Italian footballer was talking to the media after the game where he expressed his feelings for contributing to the victory. Giaccherini said:
“I work every day to make sure I’m ready, just as all my teammates do. That’s the secret of this Juventus side. The game was a difficult encounter. We faced our opponents in the right way, scoring immediately, and then closing
them down before breaking on the counter.”
Giaccherini came off the bench against Atalanta in Juve’s latest league game, and scored in the 2-0 away victory as well.
The Italian is confident of winning domestic silverware this season, and believes that the squad has the capability of winning the league and Italian Cup.
“We’re going well in the championship and Coppa Italia – we hope to finish out in front in both competitions,” insisted the winger
Juve have remained unbeaten in 21 matches in all competitions this season, and are favourites to win both trophies.
