The Dutch midfielder relieved to have broken his goal-duck in the recent win over Cesena; the former Nerazzurri midfielder looking forward to the Juventus game.
Urby Emanuelson is delighted to score his first-goal in A.C Milan colours in the 3-1 win over Cesena recently.
The midfielder is extremely happy with his performance, and is looking forward to scoring more goals for his team in the future.
While talking to the reporters, Emanuelson added:
"Finally I scored a goal. Today [Sunday], I played a good game; I'm very happy”.
The former Ajax star had a fantastic game, doing enough with the space and movement that was provided to him, and moulded wonderfully in the trequartista role.
While talking about his new role, the midfielder enthused:
"The boss spoke to me and Robinho: he wanted movement and that's what we gave him. I feel more and more comfortable in my trequartista role. The coach changes a lot every game."
The 25-year-old insists that the win over Cesena has boosted the moral in the Rossoneri camp, and the Italian Champions are in perfect shape to take on Juventus.
"We have an important game next week, and are now going into the Juve game in the best possible shape." added the Dutch international
Meanwhile, midfielder Sulley Muntari, who joined the Rossoneri on-loan from Inter Milan recently, found the back of the net on his debut for the Italian Champions. The Ghanaian international is delighted with his team’s performance,
and has urged them to continue the same momentum against the Old Lady.
"We'll prepare well for the game against Juventus. We're keeping our feet on the ground and I believe that we'll do well." added Muntari
Milan lead the Serie A points table with a single point lead over the Turin giants, albeit the latter have a game in hand.
The game against Antonio Conte’s men would be extremely important in terms of the title race, as both teams will be looking to strenghten their position with a win.
The Rossoneri will play hosts to Juventus at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday, February 25.
