Do all countries have embassies in all countries of the world?

  1. no, apart from the reasons given above, some countries (or they think they are) are not allowed to set up embassies in other countries due to political reasons.

    take for example, taiwan. countries who accept and establish a consulate office for taiwan would offend mainland china and risk its diplomatic relationship with the china.


  2. No, it would be pretty tough for many countries to do that, financially and politically. Take Montenegro with fewer than a million people for example and there are smaller countries. Not every country has official relations with every other country. The US doesn't have an embassy in North Korea or Iran and only recently put one together in Libya. Countries without an embassy either rely on an honorary consul, who frequently isn't even a citizen of that country to represent them or an interest section in another embassy.

    financial is a big part in not having an embassy established, some are political reasons.
