Embedded dirt finder light stuck

Question

The embedded dirt finder light is stuck on red. The light stays lit even in areas that I know are clean. Is there a way to fix this or "reset' the system?I have the same problem with the red light staying on. I've replaced filters and cleaned all accessible areas. I believe older sensing methods used an infared light but I've been unable to find what type of technology Hoover is using. The schematics don't give any clues or replacement parts.
