Is there any way to embed the actual video file in a Power Point file, so that no matter where your original video file is, your PPT will always have it?

  1. Before you insert them into your PowerPoint presentation, copy all the video clips, music files you are going to insert into your presentation in to the same folder as you presentation, then insert them. When send the presentation to others, sent the whole folder rather than the single presentation.

Or you can burn your PowerPoint on DVD and then play it on DVD machine, it is a safe model. There are 3 ways

    1. Windows Movie Maker, save you presentation to JEPG format then import this those pictures into windows movie maker but the animations and sounds will lost.

    2. Using PPT2DVD to convert it directory to DVD. You can download this tool from http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/download/power... Import the presentation, and then click next to convert your PowerPoint, and then click next to burn your presentation. After that the CD can play on any computer or TV with a DVD machine.

    3. Using some screen record like comtasia, you can record your screen when your play your presentation on computer.

    Then burn it on DVD.

    hope this helps.

  2. Well, some third party presentation tool such as Wondershare PPT2Flash Standard  http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-fl...

can help you embed video files in PowerPoint. You can convert it with one click. Of course, all the original effect can be retained in Flash.

You don't worry about the effect.

Also, you can send the Flash to Web and share your presentation on web with others.
