  1. try the acne free stuff i heard it works

  2. Defiantly go to a dermatologist, but there is an acne treatment kit called Acne Free it's a little like Proactive except it's cheaper and more convenient. You can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, Even Costco.

    Hope I helped :~)

  3. Wear a mask.

  4. grow out beard.... ev1 has acne wen

    teenagers

  5. make a paste out of seasalt , add a pinch of baking soda , and gently scrud in the morning..most scar treatments dont work..the pumice effect will reduce yhe scar tissue...sulfer soap work well too..dont moisturize daily ...witch hazel is good in between..

  6. the product i use is one that i found on this website. its a company called the soapmakery. its called tea tree soap.  it was really affordable(5 dollars..) and its so easy!! its not a kit or anything. just washing your face once a day. some friends and i got results after just a couple days of using it. it works really well. i have been using it for about a year.

  7. i agree with Steve R. my daughter also had this problem and the ointment steve mentioned worked great for her and only cost about 8 bucks.her face cleared all up within a month.the best thing for scarring is pure vitamin e (alpha d) buy the pills and poke one end with a needle and use it on your scars.i used it on a nasty scar i got from a surgery that was 4 inces long and half inch wide and all red and purple. its almost gone you can still see some scar tissue but at least its skin colored now.good luck

  8. See your doctor and get the anti-biotic called tetracycline. My 2 sons took it for acne and it worked very quickly.

  9. I used to have bad acne when I was in middle school, my mother knew how embaressing it was for me so she ordered me proactive, till this day I use it everyday and my face has never looked better, give it a try, it really worked for me and they have a guareentee, u can send the empty bottles back if it didn't work for a full refund. Good Luck!!

  10. i think you should go to an acupuncturist. acne comes from the problems within your body, not from the dirt and bacteria from the world which can make the acne worse but cant actually cause it. the place your acne is appearing correlates to a part of your body that is unhealthy so acupuncturists can help to make you healthy and help improve the overall condition of your body.

acupuncturists are amazing!!! much better than doctors because they have natural ways of healing your body and can diagnose all your problems just by feeling your blood pulse on your wrist. doctors only know how to do those exams that rely on big machines. they only have a way of diagnosing your problems by the symptoms you tell them and what the tests say.

i've gone to the acupuncturist for my acne, constipation, and more and it helped a lotttt...

  11. Ask the pharmacy for special disinfectant soap and wash your face everyday, and then put acne cream on it. Don't pop them! That's the worst thing you can do! Good Luck!

  12. ask your doctor if he/she knows about cortibion its like 2 bucks and can treat a pimple in 2 days.

  13. wear a mask

    jk get acutane

works in just 5 months and youl never have it again

  14. Don't use any treatment and don't pick at it always wash your hands and wash your face three times a day. Then you should be good. If not go see a dermatologist.

  15. well i use a prescription cream called benzaclin that works amazingly well. Its a bit expensive but i think its worth it

  16. Beware of using any acne products unless they have been prescribed or recommended by your doctor.  People make all kinds of suggestions about the best thing to do to cure acne.  Some cures I’ve heard include putting oatmeal, honey, lemon juice, tea tree oil, cucumber, vinegar, milk of magnesia or toothpaste on your face.  Practically every cosmetics company and company that makes personal care products makes something that is a “sure cure” for acne.  If we think about this, and use some common sense, we have to come to the conclusion that there is no quick or easy cure for acne, because if there was it would be well known and doctors would be telling everyone about it.

Numerous companies make a lot of money persuading people to buy products that at worst will make the acne worse, and at best may help some people a little.  Often fewer products are better.  People often make their acne much worse by using too many products.  There really is no quick fix for acne.  Don’t spend a lot of money on products just because their ads say that they will cure acne.  Your doctor is the best person to ask for help, and he or she may recommend some prescription medication or non-prescription treatment that may be suitable for you..

There are some very simple and basic things you can do that cost nothing.  Keep your face or any other area affected by acne very clean.  Any mild antibacterial soap will help with that.  Rinse the area well to remove all soap residue.   Drink plenty of water – it really does help to clear up acne.  Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep.  A healthy life style will make a difference.  Try to reduce the stress in your life – stress contributes to acne, so also probably the more you worry about the acne and focus on it, the worse it will be.

Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.

  17. Because your acne has started later than usual, you may have a hormonal imbalance. You should see a doctor. There are many treatments for severe acne - no reason to suffer.

  18. okay here's a few steps that are helping me, I have acne too and its starting to go away with these steps:

    1. wash your face with body soap using a wash cloth or something with texture to deep clean your face. do NOT scrub really hard or you will burn your face or make the acne worse, just make sure you get all of your face. wash your face when you wake up in the morning and b4 bed at night to kep skin clean

    2. buy a acne gel or cream with at least 10% benzoyl peroxide. Walmart sells a small tube of it for about 3 to 5 dollars. put this on everytime you wash your face

    3. buy a mosturizer that doesnt clog pores and has acne fighting treatment, so that your face doesn't look dry and flaky after putting on the medicine!

Hope this helps, my face is getting clear super fast!

  19. when ur getting a zit but a hot compress on it until its ready to be popped (but make sure its really ready)... then once its pop but an ice cube on it to make the redness go away, then when u go to bed put neosprin on where the zit used to be, but u have to make sure all of the zit is out or else its going to get worse, and most importantly do not pick the scabs!!!

  20. I'm not a physician, so this is advice to be taken only with further advice.  However, if you haven't tried ProActiv or similar products, the trick with them is that they don't overdo the benzoyl peroxide.  It is only at about 2.5%.  Want it cheap?  Instead of buying the name brands, buy a good Equate lotion at WalMart, one without petrolatum or mineral oil (or only very little way down on the ingredient list), and mix two blobs of it with one blob (say, 1/2 dime sized blobs) of Equate 10% benzoyl peroxide cream.  A few bucks worth will last a month.  Less than shipping on ProActiv.  What they don't tell you is that your skin must be healthy even during any other treatment, so if you take the standard advice of drying it out to reduce oil, you won't get very far.  Be patient...we Americans always think more is better, but too much benzoyl peroxide will CAUSE acne...at least I've had several people testify to this.

You can also use the Clean&Clear Pore Reducer to help out.  Since benzoyl peroxide is a bleach, use it at night and the Pore Reducer in the morning, as it won't ruin your clothes.  Moisturize with just the lotion during the day if you find your skin is dry or 'combination.'  You will be amazed that the shiny oil problem is reduced by ADDING lotion.  My theory is that if the skin fails (genetics) to produce the right balance of its own moisturizers, then it gets traumatized and overproduces the shiny oil, which helps form zits.  Add good moisture, and the healthier environment reduces zits.

Remember, all the acne stuff makes you burn from sun exposure.  At the same rate, sun block may work against you, so use it when you need to, and wash it off after you are done outside.  Try a make-up foundation lotion (lotion, not the base itself) with SPF 15 if you aren't in direct sun, rather than slathering on SPF 45-85 when it isn't necessary.

Don't wash, ever, with liquid soaps!  Anything with laureth or lauryl chemicals in it can irritate skin.  These are shorter alcohol chains (not like drying liquid alcohol, but chemically related).  They are what makes shampoo sting in your eyes.  That's why real J&J Baby Shampoo has cocyl level alcohols, which are longer and less irritating (and store brands may not, and will sting a baby's eyes...in that case, brand name is important).

I recommend rinsing often without soap and drying with a Bounty towel (or even public restroom style towel), since if you just rinse you may not want to dirty your real towels (if male with whiskers, watch you don't leave with Bounty lint stuck to them!)  Only wash with soap when you really feel gritty, after using sunblock, and once in the morning and once at night.  Try the 'age defying' soaps, since they are usually well formulated and meant to clear off dead cells, which helps acne.

Again, get your benzoyl peroxide to 2.5% by mixing.  Don't waste money on ProActiv unless you really have the money.  It's good stuff, but not necessary.

Also, if you haven't been to a dermatologist, you might try that, but the retinol creams are no miracle.  Tetracycline (a pill) usually helps some, but it can be hard on the kidneys (I'd rather have pocks than a failed kidney).  If you ever have an upper respiratory infection, watch your acne while taking amoxiciline or some other antibiotic, it will likely improve, but overusing antibiotics such as this will put you at risk for pneumonia, etc., because you get resistant strains of germs built up.  Never, ever use old antibiotics or ones that were stored in lots of heat...they are among the minority of medicines that become dangerous as their chemicals break down.
