Question:

Embryo development question?

I'm currently doing ivf and had 3 day 3 embryos placed back into me. One of those was a perfect, grade 1 8 cell, and two were grade 2 due to 5% fragmentation but already compacting. Is that fact that they were already compacting a good sign? I'm finding very little information on the net about this. I'm 35 and had 4 more that were cryopreserved.

  1. Sounds good - this is based on personal experience - I had 2 3 day embroyos transferred.  One perfect and one with very slight fragmentation . . . I am now 35 weeks 3 days pregnant with twins - one boy and one girl.  I am 34 and DH is 36.

The wait is so tough!  DH and I walked around the house yelling "STICK" at my abdomen.  Probably didn't actually help anything but it made us laugh and broke some of the tension.

Sending you loads of sticky vibes & baby dust!
