Emmanuel Emenike has urged Spartak Moscow to take full advantage when they face the Spanish giants in the UEFA Champions League tie at Luzhniki stadium
Spartak Moscow striker, Emmanuel Emenike, has expressed his desire to start the upcoming UEFA Champions League’s group stage match against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Barcelona-c39078 at Luzhniki stadium on Tuesday.
The Nigerian forward, who has already scored four goals in 14 league appearances so far this season, remained on the sidelines after sustaining a back injury while playing in Spartak’s 5-0 thrashing of Krylia Sovetov Samara at
Metallurg stadium earlier this month.
Consequently, Emenike missed the Red-Whites' 2-0 defeat in the European game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/SL-Benfica-c40542 after being substituted by Unai Emery at the stroke of the half-time.
But news in Russia suggested that the former Fenerbahce player is back in training along with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pavel-Yakovlev-c29514 after being declared fit by the panel of doctors whom he consulted in Germany.
Emenike, who managed to score the opening goal of the group stage match against his former side before compiling a brace against Celtic in the European competition, went on to insist that he is happy to return to the field after
recovering from a fresh injury.
The Nigerian International admitted that he feared lengthy spell on the sidelines after sustaining the injury and hoped to get back to scoring ways in the near future.
“The squad have all been waiting for my recovery and I am very grateful to the players and the coach who believe in me.”

Spartak will play the upcoming match on the back of a 1-1 draw in the league match against Volga Nizhny Novgorod. Emenike revealed that the Russian outfit can make it's fans happy if they can get a good result against a famous
European team.
