  1. why are you on ya?!

Call 911 if you think its that serous

  2. You should get her to take some paracetemol to bring down her fever and stop the headache, if it continues, call the doctors.

  3. Give her doctors office a call, tell them what is up, and ask them if she should some in to see them, go to the emergency room, or stay home and you watch for certain signs of it getting worse.

  4. Exactly what sarah and ukmolly say, paracetamol helps bring the temperature down, if it is flu, there's not much the doctor will do, but its worth calling if you are worried.

  5. She might have a sinus infection. It always made my mom & me have symptoms like that. But you never know. Take her to the doctor to be sure :]

  6. Call doc NOW !

    Stay with her, stay calm,

    call a friend/family for assistance.

  7. Get an emergency appointment at the doctors surgery or at least contact NHS direct on 0845 4647 or on-line.

  8. Giver some paracetemol and lots of fluids and keep an eye on her, if she gets worse call NHS direct 08454647.

  9. Does she have any other symptoms - adversion to light for instance? If she has a fever then she has an infection that she is fighting against.  This is usually something that most people experince and fight off themselves after a few days, but there are rare occassions when the infection is more serious and leads to septicitis and meningitus. Look up her sysmptoms and if you are concerned, take her to a GP.  If she has a fever, cool her down. Don't introduce a draught but let some cool air into the room, a cool flannel (not cold) on the forehead, NO BLANKETS even if she feels cold...

  10. She has a cold or the flu. Don't worry. If she develops a rash or loses consciousness, phone NHS Direct for advice.

Give your mum some paracetamol, which will lower her temperature and help with the headache. And just generally look after her, while she has a rest.

  11. There is not nearly enough in your question to allow any sort of safe answer. If you are worried seek medical advice without delay!

  12. Depending on what area of the UK you live, you could try ringing Go To Doc where they can help you and send a doctor out if things don't sound right- the number is 0161 785 0805 but you have to live in the Tameside/Glossop area

If you don't live there, or you think it's more serious then you should call an ambulance immediately, she may just have a temperature or it could be something more, best to get it checked out in case

  13. Paracetamol and plenty of fluids. If the temp continues to rise call your doctor for advice.

Don't call for an ambulance unless her condition deteriorates.

  14. Honey,

Call 911 if you havent till now

  15. 911!

    better safe than sorry

  16. Have you taken her temp?  If by burning up you mean more than 104 then she needs to see a doc ASAP.  If it's around 100 or 101 give her a couple of Tylenol or Aspirin (careful if she has allergies) lots to drink so she doesn't get dehydrated and put her to bed.  Once she's at least comfortable call the doc and see if they can tell you anything else.

Good luck and I hope your mom feels better soon.

  17. Doctors.............
