I have to new baby (4-6 months) parakeets at my dad's house it's rodent free but i'm thinking about bringing it to my mom's house but there's one problem, my mom has these mice that keep coming in from outside from some hole will they come after my parakeet to try to eat them or will the food attract them?Or will they be afraid of the parakeets vice versa.

  1. I think that you should listen.because when ever something moves in front of my parakeets they keep yapping and yapping

  2. the mice won't hurt the birds, but will get to the food. (the may startle the birds into crazy fits of flapping, (which can result in them having heart failure on rare occassions)

can you get some rat poison, or mouse traps (humane one if you wish) .. make sure the poison is out of the way of other animals and other kids....

mice are prolific breeds, especially if they find a regular food source, its better being dealt with sooner rather than later, as the problem will only get worse.
