  1. If you've just had it done, wash your hair several times immediately, as it will relax the perm. You can ask to return to salon and have them wash it for you, and let them recommend what to do next. Don't be shy, and tell them exactly what is wrong. If they are a good salon they will willingly bring you back to salon and help you the best they can. DO NOT chemically straighten your hair!! It will break.

Good Luck hun, I know how much hair means to people.

  2. First off the only time you should get a perm is if you have black people hair [like me].

  3. Don't panic! It'll be ok.  First call the hairdresser's that did it and explain what happened.  Say you're not happy and you want to come in and talk about it.  It could be that it just needs a bit of product to smooth it down and style it.  If it really is damaged then I wouldn't recommend more chemicals. Instead start deep conditioning right away with a professional conditioner specifically for damaged hair.  It might even be worth saying to the hairdresser that because they've made a mess of it you want THEM to do a FREE conditioning treatment.

It will eventually calm down, especially with conditioning treatments.

  4. aww, well first of all, make sure its nourished

    then do watever

if all else fails berets are cute!

  5. I concur with the hairstylists above. Do not chemically treat your hair, it would only make it worse. Condition it and try to work with the person who did this perm to you.

It'll be okay, if you want to prevent it from falling off or breaking while it gets healthier, I recommend a French braid for as long a needed...it's your hair. I think you'd rather have it braided than losing it or damaging it more...

  6. If the salon has done what you asked for then no you wont be able to get your money back but if they have given you the wrong kind of style then if you go back they will prob re style the cut or something. Perms take more than a couple days to relax, if i was you i would wait about 2 weeks and see how you eel then, It will look very tight and curly and you will need to use alot of product on your hair to begin with but that is what comes along with curly hair I'm afriad. Don't put a straightener on yourself, chances are is will go very frizzy and dry, and you shouldn't do this for a while and to be honest you would have prob got used to the perm. If you really hate it then get some good leave in conditioner and straightening products and blow dry and straighten the curl out with heat. Don't panic too much, we all hate bad hairstyles but you just need to adjust to it, if you are going to straighten it with a chemical please wait a couple weeks, your hair could go very dry and snap if you do it now.
