I have an exam tomorrow for GCSE's. But I've got a STYE coming up. My eye is all puffy at the moment and I'm really worried it's going to look even worse tomorrow. I have no choice but to go in, I can't miss my exam. Anyone have any ideas for a quick fix?

  1. Take a teabag and put in very hot water.then but your stye has hard as you can take the pain. Then rewet it has to be hot as you can stand and rub firmly on eyelid(stye) It should go away

  2. golden eye ointment, works every time.

  3. when i was a child, if i got one my mum used to rub her gold wedding ring on it!

As they are often caused by an infected eyelash root, pull the offending eyelash out of it.

  4. If it's really that bad then you should be able to arrange to re-sit the exam once it's cleared up.  Talk to your teachers the will help.

  5. Well if in any case this is pink eye they are not going to want you there as this can spread. So I think you should talk to your teachers and explain this can be spreaded and they should allow you to retest.

  6. Try chloramphenicol drops, or amoxicillin 250mg every 8 hours or 500mg every 12 hours. Also apply warm compress on it. That should help:)

But I dnt think it will be gone by tomorrow, it might lessen though.
