Emergency job questions PLEASE?

my boyfriend lives in pa and needs a job fast. everywhere he applies the people either never call back or when he calls them they do interviews and then never call back. what is wrong with these people?? where else can he apply? we really want to get out and get our own place .. im already working and we need him to make some cash fast it's so frusterating even if you just say a prayer it'd be appreciated just help!

If he isn't getting calls, or isn't getting called back after an interview, he is doing something wrong.  He needs to thoroughly review his resume for accuracy and to point out his best skills.  He needs to make sure he is prepared for the interviews he goes on.  Make sure he looks neat, and clean and is dressed appropriately.  Make sure he has done his homework on the company and the position.  He also needs to set a time to follow up with his interviewer when they are finished, and follow up with it.

He can try getting a job through a temp agency as well.  They may not be  long term positions, but he can be working and getting paid while he continues his search.
