Emergency: pigeon question

Question

The father pigeon has not returned since halfway through his yesterday daytime shift. The mother came a few hrs. later to sit on the eggs though, however i just checked now and the father pigeon is nowhere to be seen, what to do? Theres 2 cold baby pigeons outside, i dunno what to do to help them stay alive

it probley been hit or something look around your area and tell some freinds to keep a look out and bring those baby in side and go to a pet store and buy bird baby food and ask how they are fed and how much  where did the mother go  by the way you feed them with a medison droped mixed with water and food and give about a2 oz and do not feed them to fast best to do is ask a vet or astore owner for petsthey should help

The eggs can survive limited periods of time without the parents.  They also might have abandoned the nest because the eggs were infertile, or because there were predators nearby (they view humans as predators, so if you are constantly checking on the eggs and showing your face, they would have flown away.)

My best advice is to leave the eggs where they are for now.  It is VERY hard for a human to take care of eggs; the birds know better than humans ever will.  Please leave the eggs there.
