  1. The maximum conventional dosage for concerta is 54mg per day. At 72 mg, you're over that, but not dangerously unless you have some sort of heart disease or cardiovascular problem. The active ingredient in Concerta is used in doses in excess of 60mg per day. You're probably safe, but the results of taking that much could be a very unpleasant experience. Sweating, nausea, headache are all probable, as you're not going to be used to this high of a dosage. You should call the psychiatrist who has prescribed this med, and ask him specifically.

Avoid caffeine and other stimulants, do not skip tomorrow's dose.

  2. I am a paramedic. Conscerta is prescribed up to 72mg. You might get a headache or have a hard time falling asleep tonight.

I dont know your age, but if you are young and live with your parents, let them know what happened and if your mental status changes to seek medical attention.

    You will be just fine

  3. call poison control 1800-222-1222 or your pharmacist. you can also look up your meds online and look up overdose info. Unless you start feeling weird or sick you are probably going to be just fine.
