Emergenhcy! Name change possible for a flight? PLEASE READ NEED TO GET TO FUNERAL.?

Hi basically a family of 8 is departing tomorow from london with british airways for a funeral in istanbul. Two of the people the son and mother of the person who has died are on the 5 o clock pm flight but need to be on the morning 7 o clock flight. Would it be possible to go to the airport and when we collect the ticket ask to send two of the afternoon fliers on the morning flight and visa verca. Please help

If there is a need to change flights due to a death of a close family member, most airlines will try to help.  Take the death certificate to the airport, find the BA ticket sales desk and explain politely what you would like to do.  

If the flight is not too busy, they may simply allow the son/mother to take the earlier flight without swapping two other family members to the later one.
