The second day of the ongoing bout between India Emerging Players and South Africa Emerging Players came to a closure on Tuesday, August 2, after the former wrapped up the session, retaining stumps at 122 runs with a loss of a single wicket in 34 overs.

Offering a disappointing closure at the opening day with 27 runs following a loss of 2 wickets, the Indians resumed their session with skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Manoj-Tiwary-c1890 retaining their stumps as the session came alive on Day 2.
Coming out strong, following a swift loss of a couple wickets on day 1, the Indian pair took on some productive batting earning modest numbers for the team. The couple went on to produce a concrete footing on the pitch, retaining their stumps till the 26th
over.
The partnership was finally brought to an end, after the two managed to come up with a notable 89 runs contribution for the side. The player to mark his return was Manoj Tiwary (35) following a caught out dismissal off Ethan O’Reilly’s delivery.

The pair took on some fair batting stance, and led the side into earning some decent numbers for the team by creating a strong footing on the crease managing to earn a safe 122 runs mark.
