Emerson Microwave MW8998B

Question

Hello,

I purchased a microwave from Target, lost the receipt by times I got home and the door don't open and the husband burned the box already so I cannot take it back.

I can see the manual and something hanging on the inside of the door but cannot get it open.
There is no tape holding the door shut either I already doubled check that.
Any help would be great or I'm out 59.99 plus tax......yuck!
