Emigration to Australia, where to go and visa?

Hey people:

I'm at university now but after I'm finished there is at least a 50% chance that I would want to leave the UK. Australia is one of my top destinations.

Where in australia would fit these criteria?

Coastal, clean air, scenic (nature), spacious. near a big city but not in it?

How difficult is it to get a Visa? With a Philosophy degree...
