Emile Heskey considering a move to the Championship

English striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emile-Heskey-c12468 has revealed he would not mind moving to a Championship side, but confirmed he had not yet held talks with Hull City manager Steve Bruce.
After being released by English Premier League side Aston Villa, Heskey is considering his future and admitted he was open to the possibility of a move to the Championship. His destination of choice would be Hull City, where former Sunderland manager Steve
Bruce was recently appointed as the manager.
According to the 34-year-old he considered Steve Bruce to be a fantastic manager and having previously worked with him, he was aware of his managerial abilities. Heskey played under Bruce at both Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic and is now looking to reunite
with him at Hull City.
Heskey said in an interview:
“Steve Bruce is a very good manager and we have worked together in the past. We get on very well. He was the manager who took me to Birmingham and then I was at Wigan when he arrived there.”
However, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international admitted he had not made contact with Steve Bruce regarding a possible move to Hull City. He revealed he was currently just focused on enjoying his break and would wait before making any decisions regarding his future.
He revealed:
“At present, I have not had any contact with any clubs about next season as of yet, and I have not even thought about making any decisions, as I am just enjoying a break and a holiday first.”
As for the question of playing in the Championship, Heskey confirmed he had considered the possibility and was willing to play in the second division of English football. The English striker refused to rule out the possibility of signing for a Championship
side, claiming he was keeping his options open.
Heskey concluded:
“At present, I am not ruling anything out though, and I certainly would not rule out playing in the Championship, as it is a very good division.”
Heskey signed for Aston Villa in the 2008-2009 season and up until last season, he made a total of 110 appearances in all competitions and scored 14 goals.
