  1. I think Griffith was a better welterweight than he was middleweight.

    If Calzaghe could get to 160 and not become too weak then he would have too much size and strength for Griffith.

    I think Calzaghe would win a decision.

Calzaghe is slightly bigger but Griffiths was a highly skilled and durable fighter,and the year 1968 would have seen him at his best.If Emille could give Monzon such a great fight I can see him beating Calzaghe on points,not easy,but he would beat him at Middleweight,as far as I know super middle didnt exist then.

  3. Pretty close fight as both are really good boxers.  Calzaghe is the naturally bigger man and would probably impose his will a little more.  In a close fight, Calzaghe by split decision.

  4. calzaghe wouldn't have made middleweight, and i don't know how griffith would have handled a fight at 168 (if it existed back then), so i think calzaghe takes this one only because he is naturally bigger.....but it will be a tough one.
