Does anybody know where Emirates are flying their A380's now, and in the coming year? Or any other airlines that have the new A380. Would be interesting to know.

  1. Hi

They are not into production yet. they have had set backs as Boeing has.

  2. The first Emirates A380 will be delivered on July 28th.  Unfortunately, the "travel agent" who posted is completely wrong - they are most certainly NOT flying all over the place right now =]   Trust me, I barely managed to get tickets for the first flight to NYC on August 1st.

That being said, the A380s will first be deployed on routes from Dubai to New York JFK, London Heathrow, and Sydney / Auckland according to one of their older press conferences.

    Hope this helps!

  3. Emirates doesn't have any A380's yet. According to the Airbus website, only four have been delivered. All of them are with Singapore Airlines. I believe that they are currently being flown on the Singapore-Sydney and Singapore-London routes.

Emirates is scheduled to take delivery of their first A380 in July. Plans are for it to go into service on the Dubai-New York route around August 1.

You can find a current news article about it at this link:

  4. they fly all over the place now.  www.emirates.com  Check it out.  They are gorgeous planes though.  I got to tour one (no flight on it yet) but take a tour.  As a travel agent i got invited to an "opening" party.  they were sucking up so we'd promote them. lol They pretty much promote themselves though.  Amazing flights. I love that this is the way air travel is going.  Soon this will be the norm.  They are also starting planes with board rooms for business travellers. (just an FYI lol)
